Served during WW2 in the U.K. Main position was in photographic Intelligence analysing bombing raids. She was awarded the 1939 - 1945 War Medal.

Born in Hartlepool "Pat" worked in Hartlepool in the food supply chain during the start of the WW2 and was given a 12 month deferment on conscription.

She was eventually drafted into the RAF and worked in Photographic Intelligence. After the war she met Percy Vincent and married in 1947.

Pat worked for many years for the NHS as a Darkroom technician at Monkwearmouth and then the General hospital. They lived in Sunderland until their deaths.
